OK..So Scot took Hannah yesterday for her visit, They were there for more than 2 hours with this guy. Long and short of the visit is this. He definitely said no MS, No diabetes, he does not think that she is experiencing some sort of seizures at all and he does not think it is stress related.So...What next you might ask? Well, he has ordered a brain and orbit MRI. We go Monday April 27 for this.

So, Seems Christmas came and went before I could get back on here and blog away. I swear it seems like once Halloween passes by the rest of the year is just a blur. Every weekend is busy and every day is crazier than the one before. But, we survived it despite all of the madness.The tree is down as of about 15 minutes ago. Next year it has to go up sooner and I have to get more in the spirit.

Thanksgiving was good. We actually stayed home this year and I cooked. I really enjoy doing so when I do not feel the obligation for it (i.e. dinner nightly). We had a good group here for dinner without being to large. Bob, Sandra and Amanda arrived Wednesday and we were able to get some visiting time in, and the girls were able to spend some time with Grandaddy and Grandmama. DJ and Jennifer

WOW..Looking at the date of the last post..it's been a while.Memaw Roberts passed away Tuesday. She was 84. My relationship with her was not the same as with Memaw Clack. While I loved her very much and thought she was just a wonderfully, sweet woman, we did not have the same closeness. She will be greatly missed. As I said before I have been truly blessed with the most wonderful grandmothers.

Sooooo....Scot had his post-op appointment yesterday. He seems to be doing rather well. The surgeon said he was surprised to see him doing as well as he is. Apparently, the herniation of the disc was more extensive than it looked on the MRI and had several bone spurs that had to be removed. Any who..he suggested Scot go ahead and be off of work another week, until the oh 15th of September and

Well, tomorrow will be a week since surgery for Scot and so far things are looking good. He was sleeping for the most part on Tuesday and Wednesday after returning home from the hospital and he has gradually gotten up and is doing more and more around the house etc. We have been out twice and both times I think was a little much at one time and wore him out. Scot came home from the hospital yesterday. Considering how awful he sounded Monday night on the phone and early yesterday he was doing considerably well by the time I reached the hospital yesterday. So.......Scot's surgery was scheduled for 2:00pm today. this morning walking in the door from taking the girls to school the OR nurse was calling the house. Growing up I was lucky enough to have the world's greatest grandmother (Memaw). I remember for several years we went to visit Memaw and Papaw what must have been every weekend. The ride out to Lilburn seemed so long and the ride back seemed so short. In the summer, Heather and I would go up and spend a week sometimes two with her. Scot went for his Pre-op appointment the other morning and arrived to find out that his appointment had been canceled due to a scheduling error and no one bothered to call and tell him. Well, we went to the orthopedist yesterday for Scot's back (Yes, this has been going on since April 17th now).
